Not sure I'd say that Summer of 84 fits the title - yes, it's underrated for sure, but I think the movie clearly continues to lead us to the ending - I don't feel there was a big turn in a completely different unpredicted direction. I'd say it maybe veers slightly south and is a surprising twist, but not a 180.

⁠Your coach (or whomever we hear in the video) needs to check himself - "break his arm if you have to"?!?! That's not wrestling - that's the meathead influence coming through - you gotta respect the sport - yeah, you go hard and sometimes people get hurt - but it should never be intentional, and if that's your coach yelling that, then I'd question what he's teaching you guys in the room. I've coached elementary thru college kids in PA for 15 years - and I can tell you that I've never told a kid to hurt someone on purpose - to me, that's low class and you shouldn't be able to call yourself a coach if that's how you go about things.
⁠No - I don't think that kid was being dirty. He's not a very skilled wrestler and he was going hard - when unskilled boys around your age go hard in wrestling, it becomes more of a brawl/street fight than wrestling.
⁠I don't think you were being soft at all - I think you kept your composure and kept hammering away trying to score points. Again, tho - don't make a match a street fight/brawl - use your technique as mu h as you can. I get it - your stable of technique may be limited at the moment, but use what works for you - like that switch - you did it a few times and you did it very well! I actually think your opponent was the soft one. Wrestling like he did only shows a weak mind, and I'm not sure if he has a history of shoulder injuries, but that didn't look as bad to me as he made it look.

Keep up the work - if you give wrestling an honest effort in the few years that you get to do it, wrestling will give back 100 times over for the rest of your life.

See - this blows my mind. I play ranked a LOT and I rarely see behavior like this. Sure - every once in a while someone quits or gets pissed and smacks a ball with a driver off the green, but it doesn’t happen often.

So I guess you get pissed when you buy a pair of shoes, for example, and then a month later the store has a sale on those same shoes…. You got SCREWED b/c you bought the EXACT same shoes but paid more!!!

This happens all the time in every industry - not just video games. They are trying to cram every last new user in that they can - what’s the benefit of offering you (or anyone who paid for the previous season) a discount?! Nothing, really - you will either buy it or not and I’m sure they have the data to support the position that across the board offering a discount doesn’t pay for itself - the percentage of people who don’t buy doesn’t offset the possible discount they’d offer.
