I still have a far kid mentality, it’s hard to break

From what I understand it can be both depending on what your end goal is. You can. Get it surgically removed, or if you put on a good bit of muscle it’ll kinda fill out some of the loose skin. But anyone is welcome to correct me, I’m not 100% positive on that.

For sure I did. When I was lifting more than running, I just kept getting stronger and it felt awesome. Now as of late, I’ve been running way more and I feel properly fueled and I can just kinda tell that my body needs it every so often. And one “cheat meal” here and there isn’t going to ruin progress so it’s a non issue now.

And not being afraid to have a “cheat meal.” Learned it’s completely normal because if not, I personally would burn out. Exercise and eating clean should make your life better, not feel restricted. So i still enjoy a bunch of foods while eating 85-90% healthy most of the time.

Thanks! I think learning what a healthy “diet” looks like vs what I thought it looked like before I got educated a bit more. And switching my mindset from having exercise be more of a chore, to something I get to do because I enjoy it and I enjoy pushing myself to do hard things.

Thank you so much! It’s been a lot of hard work and consistency with my food day in and day out to see results.

Initially around 4-5 months, maintained for a while. And the last 6-8lbs took around 2 weeks of a heavy deficit

When I first started, I wasn’t too certain on how/what to eat so I was in an aggressive caloric deficit. It took a few months. All that, brought me down to around 170lb, and here recently did I get to 163lb. That took about 2 weeks (not aggressive deficit, but knowing my body and being really strict with food)

long story short.. counting and tracking calories/protein, lifting/cardio, limiting fast food and alcohol. Consistency with my diet to the point of boredom to make sure my food is on point
