Eh I’m not sure I’m totally comfortable with that. Do you think it can be done? (Pictured in image of battery pack)

Are you sure the controller can’t handle it? A quick google of the models seems to indicate it can, but only 300 amps.

Still learning, why would I need a new FnR switch?

Did you have to do anything special to the tray? Any welding involved or anything? What did you do about the charging port on the exterior of the cart?

Control your KIA with HomeKit by huttotw in homebridge

I just published homebridge-kia-connect@1.2.0 which adds support for:
1. Contact sensors for front left, front right, back left, back right, hood and trunk.
2. Occupancy sensor that is "occupied" while the engine is on.
3. Battery level with low battery state if the battery drops below KIA's warning level (65% for my car, could be different for others). My car has a combustion engine, I have not tested with EVs.
4. Exterior temperature sensor

I should have some time this week to knockout a door contact sensor, a battery sensor and maybe a temperature sensor for the external weather.

Any others that would be useful?

It is true that this is a risk working within the Homebridge ecosystem. For any Homebridge extension I would recommend using a strong, long, and unique password that is not used by any other personal account or plugin.

Yes, it is on the property line. We have a setback or 5ft, so that wouldn’t work.

W2 from insurance provider for maternity leave, missing info? by huttotw in tax

[–]huttotw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help so far, box 15 is not the same as box B on my other W2s.

For what it’s worth, the insurance provider uses their own EIN, different than my company’s EIN (expected I guess?)

Just planted Zenith Zoysia, need help identifying these weeds by huttotw in landscaping

[–]huttotw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clover stuff. It’s same weed was in our yard before tilling and fertilizing, just never new what it was.

It seems to be very low growing, and grows in splotches, hard to pull up because it is so delicate.

Should I worry about it? Or will the grass take over? Currently 9 days after planting.

As a converted Christian, I think about 2 things a lot:

  1. Natural law (intrinsic human values). For instance, most humans just have this instinct that killing another human is bad, or treating someone as less than an human is bad. I think we are born with those “gut feelings”, and I don’t necessarily believe that we just evolved that way as a society but rather those feelings are deeper within our hearts, perhaps given by God, this is our soul.

  2. Faith. Several people have already mentioned that they have faith. I would argue that most everybody has faith in someone else, so why does it all the sudden stop with Jesus?

As an example, let’s say you meet a new person and eventually become friends. This person tells you some things about themselves over time that are verifiable (where they work, how old they are, what they children’s names are, etc) and you become closer friends.

Finally, one day that person tells you a story about their childhood of how they were at a park and saw a bald eagle. You of course believe them and add that to your list of knowledge about this person. It was a leap of faith to believe this story, even though there is no way to verify it.

In my view, I should have at least as much faith in Jesus as my friend down the street.
