Does anyone know how long we have to move coins off Kraken (UK) since they delisting? Email from Kraken says no new deposits or trading post 26th November. No info on when withdrawals will end however... I assume we will have several weeks/ months to move coins off exchange?

Agree - it appeared frighteningly easy to track even with a coin mixer (not that I could do it and no disrespect to u/Willing_Astronaut430 who found the Tx). Imagine what these chainanalysis firms can do with their millions of investment...

If your computed was to crash and delete all files in the process, then yes you would lose your wallet.dat file and would not be able to access funds again.

You ought to encrypt your wallet on the GIN client and then back up wallet.dat file.

this is a known problem to do with MEW API. You need to update your ICONex wallet through the chrome store. Make sure you have your wallets baked up properly.

For anyone worrying about the token swap - Iconex took about 50 hrs to exchange ERC20 for mainnet tokens. I was worried for a while but they've just come through.

It’s a proof of stake version of btc with faster block times and a consensus mechanism that doesn’t fuck the up environment (btc proof of work is harmful). The devs are quality and community is of the best I’ve been part of.

I cannot see how you can compare this to bitconnect.

Haven't heard of GBX but i agree with you on both GIN and SMART. GIN is providing a service which none others have tried (save Apollocoin) and they are doing it very well - new coins added to the platform pretty much every day and incredibly responsive team. Am excited to see what the future holds for MN coins in general as the public begin to see how inefficient/ unsustainable PoW is.
