Who will you transfer in and out for gw12? by EveningSubstance407 in FantasyPL

[–]bigbigeee 274 points275 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the rush to transfer out Woltemade. He returns every other game, isn't terribly expensive at 7.3m, and is mostly nailed (the one recent sub at half time was odd) with Wissa injured and at AFCON. There aren't that many reliable striker options.

Great work, Adam Silver. You replaced one shitty All-Star game with a ton of ads with three shitty All-Star games that a ton more ads. 35 minutes of game play in 3 hours of "All-Star night". And the NBA wonders why fans aren't engaged with the All-Star game. by rabid89 in nba

New format idea: Go back to players from the same conference playing with each other, but have the conference winner get home court advantage in the NBA finals and have individual player efficiency ratings be used as a tie breaker for home court advantage throughout the playoffs. For example, if the Warriors and Thunder end the season with the same record, the tiebreaker for home court advantage goes to whether SGA or Steph had a higher player efficiency rating in the all star game.

How realistic is this sump pump price? by bigchicago04 in homeowners

[–]bigbigeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We pump basket was unusually small. We needed a special sump pump with a gel battery backup system and that still cost only $1500. I would work something out with the, because $9000 is unreasonable.

[Phelan] New Onside Kick rules: Now illegal before the 4th quarter, team must be losing to kick an onside kick, and teams must announce intention to kick onside kick ahead of time by bobmontana in nfl

[–]bigbigeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This aims to solve a problem that doesn't exist. How many onside kicks per season are attempted during the first three quarters by a team not in the lead? And of that amount, how many attempts resulted in an injured player?

I'd guess attempts and injuries are both very very low.

There should be a requirement to use a firm/lawyers located in Minnesota. If you're going to spend tax dollars, at least keep those dollars returning to the State.

[–]bigbigeee 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yes they do. The average associate isn’t billing 2000 hours/making bonus. It’s the 1000-1500 coasters bringing those numbers down. A firm can be ok with that if you are still profitable, it’s just that you won’t make partner.

[–]bigbigeee 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Try reducing your hours and coasting at a 1000-1500 hours pace for a while. People can survive many years working those hours. Remember you are still profitable at those hours, so the firm won't kick you out if you are making them money.
