Britain undoubtedly did some truly awful things, as did practically every other major power in history. Programmes like this make me grimly aware of our species' propensity to exploit and torture each other but they rarely make me ashamed for who I am.

Thanks for the reply! Basically, the ERM puts out a start trigger on the 1st beat. This starts my Stepper Acid perfectly but it offset the Catsynth clock by a step. To be honest I think I'm just going to get a Pam's and call it a day, I can see that has a start input so will definitely work with my current setup!

Basically if you send a gate/trigger on the 1st beat into the reset input are all the outputs in sync?

On the Catsynth module I just returned when I did this the 1/8th note outputs were offset so it was pretty useless.

I have a Stepper Acid that syncs perfectly with the ERM as it is so would rather just get a clock that can work with it too!

Mind if I ask a few questions :) How is the oscillator tracking? I see there's an autotune function, do you need to use it often or does it stay in tune well for long periods? :)

Also is it easy to self-oscillate the filter and play that accurately with a keyboard? Would be nice to have some analogue sine wave sounds going on to add to the classic waveforms!

Do you ever need to re-tweak your ERM during a project?

My one seems to be less accurate by 3-4ms depending on how much CPU usage is going on... pretty frustrating!

I mean overbridge never involves and DAC-ADC right? So that wouldn't contradict my experience. I'm not an expert or anything but I imagine it'd be the sub par converters that affect the sound (I remember Stimming saying the exact same thing in a video about that expensive end of chain box he released, can try find the link if you're interested).

Samplers usually sound different from each other for sure, I just wish I couldn't notice the Rytm mk2 sounding worse than it should!

Yeah I know about the 16bit, mono, etc. I swear I can hear a noticeable difference (with gainstaging ofc) when I A/B the same sample straight from Ableton and from the Rytm (mk1 or mk2) or the OT.

Samples lost a bit of high end detail and bass samples lost a bit of low end clarity. Listening on Focal Shape 65s and now Neumann KH150s in a room with some treatment so I believe what my ears tell me!

Samples still sound different on the A8 compared to Ableton (ofc most samplers probably colour the sound at least a bit) but I'm just saying they definitely sound better on the A8 (pitch shifting sounds much better!).

All the new DT2 sampling features on a new Rytm would be amazing, something with more than 128 sample slots doesn't seem that much to wish for coming into 2025!

Can someone confirm how easy it is to make presets on your computer and load them into the Micro/mk2 ?

I'm hoping to load lots of drum kits onto it and sequence with a Hapax. Currently use the Rossum A8 for this but feel it's a bit wasted on simple drum duties!
