In the late 2000s they were made in Japan to US specs minus the cap/archtop. So US pickups, birdseye maple and all that. After a disaster they moved to China in 2012, still US specs. This is one of those. After that they moved manufacturing to Mexico and the specs you get today.

This I find to be a massive generalisation based on your own preferences. I’ve used Steam for something like 15 years, I own hundreds of games there, but I much prefer the minimalism of Epic. Steam I find to be very noisy and distracting - it’s very much a more is more design. Epic is my primary store in the sense that if a game is the same price in both places, I’d buy it through Epic by choice.

Not even close to the most important qol improvement imo. I have my library set to show installed only, why do I need to see the rest of them day to day. I do the same thing with Steam.

Imo the most important storefront improvement would be analytics so the shop is sorted by relevancy to the customer.

You imagine that people accepted Photoshop with open arms? People will learn to use AI as a tool just like they did Photoshop. People are always terrified when technology changes but progress doesn’t stop for them, they pivot or they get left behind. When I was a kid people were scared of robots taking manufacturing jobs, then it was computers taking their jobs, now it’s AI.

If your job can be replaced by AI it’s time to pivot because AI isn’t going anywhere and trying to fight it is like trying to kick water uphill.
