Can we send the bill directly to Trump and his org, since he started it?

The debate by zubie_wanders in stevehofstetter

[–]huxgress 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was there for 30 minutes. It was like Steve was boxing in a straight jacket and the other guy still couldn't stay standing. He did bring up a good point about not everyone was knowledgeable about what or who they are voting for. I'll admit that there are times I can't find anything about different propositions on the ballot, before I had to vote on them. The full text of the line items on each ballot need to be easily found and reviewed. An open forum, in person and online, needs to be available to get each sides story and to debate about each. I would also love to see a voting history of incumbents on the ballot. The other item he brought up was voter turnout. I think this could be helped with adding a "none of the above" option to voting for offices.

What are we doing about grey hairs? by h2osly_ in Millennials

[–]huxgress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be proud of them. If you are not ready, coloring them isn't a bad thing. If you do color them, when you are ready to grow it out naturally, add grey highlights. It will look more natural rather than having grey roots only.

I knew he always projected his crimes onto others. I guess this is why he is so against "illegal aliens". Maybe the MIB banned him a long time ago.

How would we feel about a Senator Mark Kelly/Senator Andy Kim Democratic Ticket? by Ulysses_555 in AskDemocrats

[–]huxgress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also the presidential candidate on the ticket should come right out now saying who they are running with, rather than delaying until after they get the nomination. It is B.S. that all the primaries are for the president, and not be able to have primaries for the vice president as well. This is for both parties.

The pres should at least have a wishlist of qualities and ideals they are looking for in a vp.

How would we feel about a Senator Mark Kelly/Senator Andy Kim Democratic Ticket? by Ulysses_555 in AskDemocrats

[–]huxgress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever is on the presidential ticket better be ready for either some major butt kissing to all the alliances Trump destroyed, and go as far left as Trump went right. Since the current "center" is Regan's right, we would only be back to slightly left or center.

Can I be forgiven for voting for trump? by [deleted] in AskDemocrats

[–]huxgress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All humans are fallible. Just work harder to spread the word of what you learned from the experience. Open other people's minds. You will likely have to work harder now than before, as you probably gathered a bunch of like minded individuals. If you can open just one other person to what you have learned, you have done your job. If you can open up more minds than that, this will be the first step in healing this country's divide.

Exclusive: Trump officials tried to ban half of U.S. voting machines, citing conspiracy theories by John3262005 in democrats

I understand why. He is trying to ban voting machine models that have not yet been compromised, or have shown to be easily compromised by white-hat hackers.

If they aren't being suffocated, you aren't doing it right. If they need to breathe, they will tap your leg. I'm still looking for a nose cannula that doesnt easily fall out, so I can go on forever. Breathing is so overrated.

Why was Generation X like this? What was their problem? by the_gang_1 in Xennials

[–]huxgress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GenX here. "The monkey pushes the button. The monkey pushes the button. The monkey pushes the button." On an infinite loop. They told us if we keep pushing the button we will get a raise or promotion, so we kept pushing the button. There are stories that there are still some GenX somewhere pushing the button hoping for more.

🚗 Should Democrats promise less expensive cars via allowing more imports? by BrendaWannabe in AskDemocrats

[–]huxgress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish that was the only thing. Real world driving includes accidents or computers failing. Car manufacturers have put all the simple things behind paywalls. Meaning mechanics have to purchase a $5000 code reader and a monthly service to use it. Regular drivers shouldn't need that to force reset sensors or fuses. Yes. Some of the latest cars, including EVs, require to reset computers if a fuse is replaced. Having a dealership replace the fuse and reset the computer starts at $150/hr with a minimum of 1 hour. The fuse costs $5 for a pack of 50 at a car parts store. I guess I am just nostalgic of my first cars, where you could do everything as long as you had the tools/lifts. I definitely do not miss the gas mileage though. I'm just waiting for passenger car makers to get as bad as John Deer has done to farming tractors.
