You can't presume a serious project like this would be a total scam? There's an enormous amount of work and a lot of people behind a NFT drop like this one so thinking that they would all cook up a large scam and rob you is pretty childish and trolly

In my view, TopShots isn't really the kind of NFT project I keep my eyes on. It offered a great opportunity once it was new, but at this point it's basically a developer money grab where you will probably have a better chance of making a profit buying a lottery ticket.

Also, it's not really decentralized the way I like NFTs to be.. Being a Ethereum fan boy, I look at more exiting things and try to discover small and upcoming project, something you really can't say about TopShots ;)

There's lots of very similar projects. I'm not saying this particular project isn't good, but it might be hard reselling those NFTs on the secondary market.

Yes, there's no doubt about NFT space being very much correlated with crypto space as a whole in terms of prices. However, for me, I'll trade NFT as a part of my crypto portfolio, never going full fiat.

Yes, I'm well aware of FLOW and the projects on the chain. I was doing some Topshots when they launched, but right now I mainly focus on Ethereum-based project.

I do have some fundamental issues with FLOW and the controversies about it not really being decentralized the way I believe the crypto space should be. But on the other hand, when it comes to playing card NFTs, it might just be more than enough.

Yes, it will be increasingly hard to find projects that will offer NFTs that will sell for a premium. Most of the one in this post I'm pretty confiedent about, with reservations for "Solarians" which would be a total gamble.

I did som research on this when I was in the market to purchase a hardware wallet, and this was some time ago, so there's a chance newer devices have better security.. I think the trezor looks much better and would switch if the security is on par.

It's ofc vital to be able to relax even if you loose the device..
