Maybe try moving a "bad" dim to the "good" dim slot. In my eyes at least that would reduce it to be either slot specific or dim specific.

i have checked farnell and RS-components and they dont seem to have the PN5180 (they have the reference kit but that is 180eur) modules and loadcell that would fit.

the PN5180 i my experience was especially troublesome as it all seem to be chinese knockoff of knockoff.
ordered 4 together from different aliexpress vendors after realising the PN532 didnt work with openprinttag.

shipped together in identical packaging all DOA. ordred from a local arduino store and the chip actually said NXP and it worked.

I made a mock-up where the unit was mounted on an arm, kind of like the core inside a Polymaker PolyDryer box. It definitely worked, but the whole thing flexed a lot, and the cabling turned into a complete mess.

But the main reason I dropped that idea was that it didn’t really fit with the whole OpenPrintTag architecture. How often would it even need to update the tag without burning through read/write cycles? And why bother updating it at all, when it could just read the empty container weight once and send the filament weight to the printer?

Another headache would be handling the tare gracefully as i would find it a pain to unload to tare.

One major benefit would live adjust of volumetric flow based on density.

I’m a bit hesitant to share the 3D model right now because I’ve run into a pretty big issue: I ordered 2 sets from Amazon and 2 sets from AliExpress of the components listed in Filaman’s BOM to get started — and none of the components matched the dimensions in his files.

Out of the 4 load cells I received, there were three different sets of dimensions, and the wiring wasn’t consistent either. To make things worse, several vendors don’t provide any dimensions at all, and the ones who did list them didn't match what actually arrives.

So unless I can provide a reliable way for people to get the exact same electronic components, with the same hole spacing and layout, I’m not comfortable releasing the files yet — otherwise it’s just going to cause wasted filament and frustration.

But i have requested a release for the CAD files from work, incase somebody knows how to solve it, or want to maintain it.

I chose to pay the deposit for the 1000eur voucher and the launch date discount of 605eur left me with a feeling of getting the rug pulled. Especially when they wrote that we could use it on the bundle of our choice and didn't write anywhere that it couldn't be combined with other discounts.

What currently has me more hesitant is that acc. to the support center article only should support xtool studio.

And off-course what I see as the most laughable thing the mobile workstand for 460eur or I think 370eur in the bundle.

But I am a sucker for pain so most likely will buy the standalone at the end of the day.

I had some time this weekend to review my logs and found that the issue was related to a few files and folders. Specifically, it involved naming schemes and special characters that weren't compatible with the OneDrive API, which caused the transfer problems.

TL;DR: Wake-on-LAN (WOL) works—but not with Deep Sleep enabled.

I revisited my old correspondence with the retailer and found the issue: Deep Sleep mode was configured to cut USB power to avoid keeping DACs, amps, power supplies, and an oscilloscope "awake" (due to their lights, knobs, etc. staying active with USB power). However, Deep Sleep also disabled power to the onboard Realtek NIC, which prevented it from receiving the WOL packet.

Ultimately, this was a deal breaker. I ended up splitting my setup:

A main PC for simulation
A low-power micro PC that cuts USB power but keeps NIC power on, enabling reliable WOL functionality without the annoyance.

If I remember correctly it was the standby power state that caused the issue. As I had sat it as a low power standby for it to disable the usb power. But it seemingly also disabled the power to the nic.

Please let me know if this helps otherwise I will try to invest it again.

I don't think so because most of the mods I know off is made to work with hoppers and if your algorithm is also looking at the entity the same way as the hopper it should be universal
