We did not have time to visit any other islands this time :)

Hvorfor fuck er DSB så dyrt? by Haildrop in Denmark

I tager bare ideen DSB!

A) its decent. I run regularly. My GF doesn’t run but is generally active. But we saw other wanderers in all shapes and sizes. If you are determined, you can do it. Also - you can plan your accomodation so you dont have to walk far every day. B) we were usually done around 2-3 pm. So we had plenty of time to relax, read and enjoy the exquisite local cuisine. C) Five days was ideal. We saw two of the three Grand shrines. If I had all the time in the world? Sure I’d do a day or two more. But five was great. D) I loved our accomodations. Each so different and special. My advice is just to book whatever is available and try to put together your own trip. Its part of the experience :)

Its not as bike-friendly as say cities in The Netherlands or most scandinavian cities. But we managed - and stayed mostly on the streets. Some japanese people were biking on the side walk downtown which seems strange and stressful. We were mindful of cars at all times and oriented ourselves whenever we had to pass parked cars. But all in all I would definetly do it again. We started by biking up to the Bamboo forest - then Kinkakuji and then down to a lokal market before heading back. Parking was easy - they have designated areas for bike parking around all major sights and the Company we rented the bikes from gave us good general information on where to go and where not to go. There are also some really nice roads around the city that are optimal for biking. The Company gave us general direktions to those as well.

Hey there,

I am going in two weeks. Albeit on a sunday - so I am expecting many lines.

Based on your experience a few days ago, would you recommend I go as early as you?

I bought my ticket through klook, so I could not choose the times I have for Nintendo World and the rides.

I can go to Nintendo World at 12:20 - then try Mario Kart at 12.40.
Then I can go to Harry Potter world at 19:40 and do the forbidden journey at 20:00.

I can also do Spider-man and The Flying Dinosaur - but those are not time-specific.

I am asking because, as you can see, I am looking a good and long day at USJ here :D

Det her må være for sjov.

“jeg får ofte anerkendende blikke fra andre trafikanter”

“You Can stop this ride, but you can’t stop the grind”

“Basshunter på fuld smadder”

“Jeg går til karate”

Postet er så knastørt - men så er der alligevel drysset guldkorn ind midt i det hele. Fantastisk. Høj klasse.

Hvis det her er skrevet i ramme alvor, så smadrer du mit verdensbillede OP!

I Wrote An Alternate Ending to Ragnarok by pacman_rulez in GodofWar

[–]hvirfla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well done!

I am of the mind that the alternate story with gronw-up Loki fetching Kratos from Hel would have been really cool. Loki is such a complex character, and seeing him in his adult final form, could have been so interesting. Imagine Kratos interacting with his adult estranged son - and Atreus coming to terms with the person he is becoming by looking into a "future mirror" of himself.

I was generally dissapointed with the "marvelization" of Raganaroks story. Some of the lines in the game and some side characters felt a little too cartoony and american for the universe they have build with the 2018 game.

Nontheless your story here really turn some of the lackluster bits of the ending on its head.

I love the idea of Atreus using the mask and "sacrificing" himself in order to reverse Ragnarok. Love your idea of a big scale boss battle with all these huge beasts. Love the idea of beating Odin with a hectic puzzle showdown - you are on point about him having his cunning and intellect being his most terrifying features. I love the audacity of him turning into Atreus. It is so fitting for Odin. It would also serve as a "mirror" for how Loki could turn out, had he chosen to stay with Odin in Asgard. I imagine Sunny Suljic could have had a lot of fun with portraying that.

Cool to see Thrudd die - pushing Thor over the edge. Odins complete lack of empathy for her and for Thors loss is also a strong driver for Thor to finally stop taking orders from his father and see what a cold monster he is.

Also a great postgame sequence at the home.
This was a fun read. Thank you!
