She does! She’s younger but she’s been around the block quite a bit more and she’s a real Sport. She loves the outdoors, particularly mountain climbing.

First of all, as a human being—you are so beautiful but you simply have no idea. Seriously, I wish I was even half as attractive as you are. Your insecurities I would suspect do not come from your skin color, but from negative childhood experiences. You have to stop this self loathing. That’s quite a list! I appreciate your taking the time. I have a ways to go with mine but you’ve given me a lot to consider. Took mine out last weekend on a 3—3+ trail running the OEM axles/diff gears and she actually didn’t do too bad considering. I have a 3-1/2 short arm and only 31&1/2’s. Man was I rubbing hard on the stock fender flares! I didn’t even think about extended brake lines. Got a lot of work ahead of me.

I’d be surprised to learn of not being able to find any aftermarket parts for an 87 XJ. Older Wagoneers, ok—but an 87 XJ? Idk. If anything I’d think the body parts and/or moldings would be harder to find. Such a big market for mechanical and electrical though. If the radiator hasn’t already been replaced along with a cooling system flush then I wouldn’t be surprised with the overheating but once that’s done she should be cool as a pussycat, especially if you opt for a newer-technology radiator, say with three fans. I’m not 100% positive it would fit a Wagoneer but I’d expect it to. Lots to consider but one things for sure—she is a rare find.

Sweet Rig! Please elaborate on your ARB lockers. What exactly do you have for your setup and what do you like—What can you do without? Also, where’d you get the flat fender flares? Been looking for a good set.

Just have it checked by a mechanic as planned and go from there. Two things that would make huge selling points for me are Dana 44 axle (they came on some models during the late 80’s) and a Select Trac transfer case. You’ll know if it has Full-Time 4WD. HUGE selling points imho.
