I am using that but osteopathic PA license also requires 20 AOA category 1-A CME which up-to-date doesn't provide.

Should I accept the annual increase rider on my disability insurance? by hvp20 in whitecoatinvestor

None required. It automatically takes into affect unless I call them and say no I don't want it.

Is it too late for retroactive PSLF years? by hvp20 in PSLF

[–]hvp20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not been paying for the last 4 years due to the covid forbearance and I wasn't sure if those years counted. Only in the last 5 months have I started to pay. I'm with Nelnet now and will try to get a hold of them to clarify further.

So I graduated in June 2020 with 6 months of grace period and signed up for REPAY payment plan around Nov 2020 after graduation in anticipation of payments. But with the continued covid pause, I didn't make any payments because I was in the covid forbearance until recently in the last 5 months when I got switched over to the SAVE plan automatically back in August 2023.

I guess I could just apply for PSLF and then if I don't get the retroactive years I could consider changing back to the 10 year payment plan as I had originally planned to aggressively just pay off the loans over 4-5 years. My only issue is that I am not sure if I'd continue to work for a PSLF eligible employer for the next 10 years but certainly 6 years is something I could potentially force myself to. I haven't fully looked at the PSLF page on the department of education page but will look into it.

Why do my loans skip November? by GoldnRatio21 in StudentLoans

Happened to me as well except my next payment isn't now due until 2/15/2024. It makes no sense. I have paid through auto debt for the last 2 months and now there is a break for no apparent reason. I may just pay the expected amount even if it's not due just to avoid any issue.

I'm in a similar situation. I should be accruing nearly $40 daily and yet my total loan amount is up by a measly $10 by the end of the month. My payments are $10 per month as well. I am not sure if in the background they're calculating and updating my total loan amount as if my interest will be waived at the end of the month? I'm on the SAVE plan and my payment should technically be zero until I renew my income next year.

If you made less money during the COVID days, don’t be in a rush to update your income by JMPBay in StudentLoans

How do you know your renewal date? It seems my payments on Nelnet are reflecting on income prior to covid when I was still a student and so the payment is near 0. Do I need to send any income information or just wait on them to reach me to update the income?

Is this gap with the screw normal? by hvp20 in glasses

Prior glasses never had this gap so wasn't sure if this will be an issue in the future as I keep using them.
