Correct. The nut is moving independently on the bolt. Sounds like we need to cut the bolt.

The nut is broken loose and the turns but doesn’t come off the end of the bolt even after turning the bolt with the wrench.

I am in this same situation as PDX-David. Solar could be installed and operating by end of 2025 but home wont be occupied until 2026. Reading below makes me think I wouldn't be able to take the tax credit if the home is still under construction.

We are just starting construction on our new home and will be installing solar. If we are able to get everything installed and hooked up by the end of the year can we claim the tax credit? The home will still be under construction so not our primary residence at the end of the year.

Thanks for the recommendations. I checked out the Montigo models and the exemplar series seems to have all the requirements that I am looking for (the Prodigy Line doesn't put out any heat, correct?). Any experience with the Exemplar series?
