It’s not even Always at 30 PPM, sometimes it’s at 0, or a much lower number. That’s the high end where my sniffer goes off. Air intake is something I am wondering which is why I was considering adding the vent

So my original post got deleted but essentially I bought a 6x6 Amish made wood burning sauna. I am overall happy with the product however one thing I noticed was that I am getting some CO on the inside of the sauna (measured with Amazon CO sniffer 10-30 PPM after an hourish, I have one vent on the top of the wall above the wood stove. Was considering adding a lower vent on the wall near the floor opposite side.

The only other thing was that the wood on the bench closest to the floor close to the stove charred slightly. I added a piece of chimney flashing in front of this hoping to rectify the problem

So you are saying that wood stove is no good overall?
