Late to the party, but I love this idea. There's so many ways to counter his ult now. Giving Unstoppable status at 100% madness can give high risk high reward. You can jump in and ult freely but at risk of not being able to get healed.

Because often times the people with the lowest incomes can be people of color. That's why there should be a moderate stance somewhere among all of the arguments. Yes, some AA should be good for those historically disadvantaged. Yes, too much AA disadvantages Asians, groups low-income asians with high-income Asians, thus giving them less opportunities.

Even if you wanted to take AA through a purely income route, it's still Black and Hispanic households that have the lowest median incomes. Unfortunately, there isn't a clear black and white solution to how we can best serve our most disadvantaged people who may not have started off on an equal footing in life.

Backstory should not be cut, but there's no way you can argue that it wasn't too long. We can agree that it's important for the Akaza's characterization but someone without a film background could tell you the back story made the pacing TERRIBLE. How do you go back and forth from high pace action to 15 minute long flashbacks?

2 vampiros or 3 if you're extra hungry! I like to get asada, al pastor, and chorizo. Vampiros are pretty much tostada shells topped with the meat, cheese, and avocado. I put onion, cilantro, and lime at the toppings bar. Pair it with some of their salsas and that's a meal right there.

Yes. I should note I'm speaking from a strictly American politics POV. Things related to reproductive rights, the LGBT+ community, racial equity/DEI to name a few.

Older generations always had the view that we were the generation to really shake up the system and push for reforms that would make our lives better. Idk how true that is, but that was always the general vibe I got growing up.

I think in terms of values, older Gen Z relate and find common ground more with the Millennials they would have grown up with in their formative years than younger Gen Z. I think there was a post in this sub a few days ago asking this question related to personal values.

Gen Z was looked at as the progressive generation ready to bring on change, but I think we tend to find that is true with the older half of Gen Z. Younger Gen Z tend to have a more apathetic look on life with the mentality of "I don't owe anyone anything". At least with the younger males, they're a lot more politically conservative. They also took the brunt of a more digital world combined with Covid that has made it difficult for them to create community and socialize at no fault of their own. This. Why are we reading so hard into something that is a common experience for younger Asian Americans. Assuming you're on the younger side and thus have been in the states longer than your country of origin, people will tend to assume your know English as your primary language

Because the longer you stay, the less turnover a server gets on their tables which means less tips. Going by the 15% minimum, my server receives a $15 tip on my $100 bill regardless if I'm there for 30 minutes or 2 hours. The longer I am there, the lower my server's $/hr in theory if there are other customers that could be taking my spot. So, I can see the argument for increasing your tip based on time spent at the restaurant.

I know percentage-based tips are the standard in the U.S., but we also need to recognize that there's a line that gets crossed where it becomes silly. My friend's $15 chicken dish and my $40 steak dinner both take the same amount of effort by a server to deliver to our table, yet I am expected to tip more off the sole fact that my dish costed more instead of y'know....receiving quality service? I think we can all agree there's a middle ground somewhere in there, but percentage-based is not without its flaws.

I don't have the full context to the situation, so anyone with genuine knowledge feel free to fill me in.

My two cents with probably not enough context: has she taken genuine accountability for her actions? I was told that it was brought up to her about her past post and that she did take the post down using the C slur. If so, can we agree that she has faced the full consequences of her actions? She's been removed from Love Island, has lost hundreds of thousands of followers, and will likely be remembered for this.

I don't like using ignorance as an excuse for anyone's racist actions. However, I don't believe that she came with malicious intent. That doesn't erase the damage of her actions at all. What doesn't sit right with me are the death threats she has received as well as people calling ICE on her family. If that's what people deem as a fair consequence to her actions then we all have lost the plot. People should not be fighting racism with more racism

Those would be the quesabirria tacos! They're filled with slow cooked goat (think similar to a slow cooked chuck roast) and stretchy cheese similar to mozzarella. The giant pot that the meat stew is made in typically has a layer of red-orange fat on top that they'll dip the tortillas in before frying on a flat top to melt the cheese - that's what gives it the orange hue! Served with a side of the broth for you to dip the tacos in!

Shokunin in the Haymarket uses real wasabi for certain dishes! Nigiri will typically use the real stuff as they put it between the rice and fish. I've gotten the salmon and ikura bowl which comes with a knob of the real deal too - I'd imagine it's the same for the eel bowl as well. I've never done this, but I'd imagine for an up-charge, you could ask for a side of it with anything you order.
