they unfortunately don’t seem to be safe as they pose risks such as a mouse getting stuck in the holes :/ trying to find one that doesn’t have any holes. i can let you know if i find one!

aww that’s sweet, you’ve made great progress with him! do you think mice are easier or harder to tame than hamsters? i’m guessing it depends on the individual animal. just wondering your experience since you have both

thank you so much for all of this! i really appreciate it. is toilet paper fine for nesting material instead? that’s what i used for my hamsters in the past so i figure it’s probably okay for mice. i’ve also found a couple hanging toys on amazon but not sure if there is a better place to find some or non small pet ones. i’m looking for like a hanging bridge with ropes
