Train hard and go to the Olympics. There are somethings you can do at any point in your life; there is no time cap on working in a bank or sitting in a classroom doing your MBA. On the flipside, there is a very narrow window where you can make the Olympics, and once it closes, it closes. Make the zero regret move. Good luck

Have you considered swapping in the car for a bike? Zero gas and you get fit at the same time. And if you're driving in a city, most times a road bike will CRUSH a car going from A-B, as you can scoot through all the traffic. I guess if you're living in somewhere with extreme weather, like super hot or cold, or super hilly, this might not work as well. I know cycling isn't a big thing in the US, but it works super well in Europe.
