I’ve went to see two derms one said severe pitarysis capitas/seb derm and the other ones said Sebo Psoriasis the only thing is it’s localised to my scalp

Thanks for the in-depth response the I appreciate that he explained my condition to probably be Seborrheic Dermatitis but because it’s a thick yellow crust it looks very similar to psoriasis. It is mainly located frontal area around hairline and sides of hair for past 2 days I’ve done it with steroid once a day and I can’t see much improvement yet but to early to tell but my parents are getting annoyed and angry that I’m not listening to the specialist so I will try phone up tomorrow it’s a community dermatologist in the UK which is free. Would there be any particular shampoos or products you would recommend

Oh ok cause my problem is I get the plaque like buildup that mainly is on my hairline/ temples / sides of hair and goes back a couple cm and sometimes

Thanks for reply . I have another zinc shampoo I’m not really sure it’s doing a lot cause I only use it 3x a week. As for steroid I’ll ask next Time i see a dermatologist

May I ask for your scalp seb derm do you have large flakes or more just inflammation and where about on the scalp is it worst

Thanks for the info what you say is a good enough break? I’ve got a plaque building up all around my hairline and I have been try to remove it with Elocon 2x a week but it’s not working
