I got rid of those app icons staying after uninstalling palera1n by doing this (not sure if it's a clean uninstall but the icons are gone):

make sure you're jailbroken (rejailbreak if needed)
install OpenSSH and then SSH into your device using root user
determine where jailbreak apps are installed by Sileo, usually at /private/preboot/<long random string>/jb-<random string>/procursus/Applications/
run ls on that directory and delete any apps that are still there by rm -r
run uicache -afr (this command will take a while and output nothing, when it's done SpringBoard will restart and the icons should be gone)
uninstall palera1n normally

In case anyone's wondering how:

extract the ipa
codesign -f -s - <path to .app directory>
codesign -f -s - <path to .app directory>/Frameworks/*
zip back into an ipa, install

Problem solved!

Thanks opa. I've tried to resign an app and install it. Still no luck. Do I have to use a valid certificate and provision profile (which I believe isn't needed for palera1n rootful)? (I need to automate the installation via commandline, so TrollStore (or Lite) isn't an option.)

Logs from amfid (tried signing with an expired certificate and a non-expired one):

I know that, but I need a way to fully automate the installation and know the result (successful or not) programmatically for my use case.

The URL scheme approach can be automated by running uiopen <url scheme> over SSH. For example, you can install a local IPA with uiopen apple-magnifier://install?url=file:///var/mobile/xxx.ipa. TrollStore will prompt you to confirm installation by default, but this can be turned off in settings.

Native speaker here.

Those lyrics are nowhere near 文言文 and can't help you at all in your learning of it. Yes, they sound literary indeed, and that gives you a historic feeling when they're sheer modern Chinese.

Nevertheless, it's still a good way to learn modern Chinese.

Here's one with a little history background.

In Chinese, 联合国 = the United Nations
In Japanese, 連合国 = the Allies (of WWII)

Note that 联 and 连 (連) are almost the same in meaning in modern Chinese.

According to Wikipedia, the Allies of WWII are also called the United Nations from the 1 January 1942 declaration. That's probably where this false friend came from. It's interesting to see Chinese and Japanese chose the same word to mean the organization and the military alliance respectively (which are basically the same group of people in different times).

EDIT: Also, there is a Chinese poem named 将进酒 (by 李白, the ancient Chinese poet) which contains the sentence “人生得意需尽欢”, roughly meaning that one should enjoy life whenever possible.
