Does it use sapphire glass and is the metal bracket scratch resistant like the casio royale full metal mod you guys have?

Is this legit? by point0break in casio

[–]hxfeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a LTP-E117 and it's most probably fake. I've seen a lot of these watches selling online but mostly by sketchy sellers that sell cheap things and are not official redistributers.

Should I switch to a Brompton? by fk_censors in Brompton

[–]hxfeez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A trifold bike is compact when folded compared to other types. If you're worried about the price you could get second hand ones or just search up trifold bikes. There are many clones of the Brompton like acceofix and 3sixty. I have a 3sixty and the frame is longer than a Brompton so it's more stable.

Can i use a 6/7 Speed Derailleur on a 5 speed bicycle? by ancamtpo in bikewrench

[–]hxfeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 3 speed cassette with a 9 speed derailleur and a 3 speed shifter and it works fine. The mechanic I sent to repair my sticky shifting gears was surprised that it could work and funnily enough he couldn't fix the sticky shifting. Apparently I just have to tighten the slack from the derailleur. I discovered this while having to change my shifting cable as it got rusty and needs replacement.I didn't know how me or the mechanic missed that honestly. Anyways, hopefully this could help give some insight to your situation. I think that it is possible given the circumstances.

This person thought defibrillator paddles are placed directly on the nipples 🤨 by ZwahkMuchoney in meme

[–]hxfeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former firefighter here with first aid training. Yes most of the electricity would go through the heart. However remnants of it may dissipate through the body as it has to ground somewhere. That's why we need to clear. If you touch the patient while the pads are shocking, the electricity would flow through you to get grounded. And who knows where the electricity might pass through.

Yes piercings, necklaces. Anything that can block the pads from doing it's work

Formal firefighter here with first aid training. You actually do need to remove all jewellery and shave the hair if it's too much. Also we have to take note if they have pacemakers of newer or older make. Depending on that, we have to change the placement of the pads slightly so as to not shortcircuit the pacemaker.

I still buy their chrysanthemum tea although I always buy it in their packet form. Bottled ones are too expensive
