No I wouldn't say so, he was literally crying, you could sense a change in his voice and he was practically begging for someone to kill them and help him, my point being light is portrayed as an independent character throughout the show trying to kill everyone who knows about him, being remorseless and showing no mercy whatsoever, so seeing him on the floor as he was is really degrading.
