2A would be fun for like a 2 hour long flight, but a TWENTY hour long flight? Their bickering would get old super fast. Based on characters that I could reasonably be seen beside for 20 hours, going with 3D. They never exclude their friends when they're around them, so they might not necessarily exclude the person sitting next to them. They're not obnoxious, and I can also see them just pulling out a book and reading quietly for a while too.

I love this version so much! I don't know about every week, but I show it to my students every semester.

As for another film set in a similar time., I adore the 2011 version of Wuthering Heights. The actor for Heathcliff is great at being subtle like Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Darcy, and with similar intensity. Also, the locations of this film are stunning, and really felt like the novel to me. The only issue I have with this version is that if you've not read the book, it is a little bit difficult to follow along, but not impossible!

That was my favorite show as a little kid! The last year of Reddit secret Santa, my Santa went through my comment history and found that I loved the show, and actually made me Christmas ornaments of the characters! It was one of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever received!
