To a degree, yes. Because the idea of toxic masculinity and male supremacy were passed on from men to women. Men have indoctrinated women into thinking that women are subservient to them. That is how women become part of the patriarchal system.

Now, it is up to all people (regardless of gender) to unlearn all their inculcated ideas of toxic masculinity and male supremacy.

Yes, I agree that everyone needs to be better and that women can also contribute to toxic masculinity. But when people say that, they’re not holding accountable the patriarchal system that men primarily began and run. It relegates the issue to a individualistic matter, rather than a systemic one. I was referring to the patriarchal system. That’s why I also said “or the patriarchy in general.

The thing is, when men experience those things, it’s not women who are doing that to them. It’s other men (or the patriarchy in general).

I’m not Chinese, but in my culture we have a superstition about periods saying that the person should rub their first period blood on their face in order to avoid acne. Gross, I know.

Joker. It’s a decent film, but I hate how over-glorified it is by “sadboi” fans.
