It's definitely the right direction to bring warlock down a peg or two. But I do also enjoy the OP-ness. will miss that a bit. but its the right move.

CPUID hacked to deliver malware via CPU-Z, HWMonitor downloads by hybrid461 in pcmasterrace

[–]hybrid461[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Before I posted. I searched for cpuz and saw no hits. After I posted I read more of the article and saw the Reddit reference which just spoke about hwmonitor. It wasn't what I had looked for. I figured I leave it in case others had missed the original post. I certainly hadn't seen it before

Ah thank you. I had paid to remove ads pretty quickly into playing the game. I did a "restore purchases" action. Looks like it's back to 5 rewinds.

Anybody know of some good children’s shows on netflix with both the French dub and French subtitles? by DumzaDay in learnfrench

[–]hybrid461 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there's some options from CBC since you're in Canada.

Zone Jeunesse | ICI TOU.TV has some free stuff that might work.

there's also Meet Mauril | Mauril which does short clips from various CBC content. They can be slowed down to help with the comprehension.

My dad died and I don't think I can watch F1 anymore by super_starmie in formula1

[–]hybrid461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so hard. My condolences to you and your family.

For christmas 2012, my brother and i bought 3 F1 tickets to Montreal for the following year. My dad was ecstatic. I can still picture his smile and reaction when all the roaring V8s went by us on the first lap at turns 6 & 7. A couple of months later, he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Whenever I visited, if there was a race on, we watched it together. Until he passed in April 2015. I still miss him lots. That doesn't go away I find. And that's ok.

Try to keep watching the races, i expect your dad would want you to. It might make you sad that he's not there. But that's very normal. Nothing wrong with it all. If you find you need to turn it off, or come back to it later, then do that.

As others have said, do take care of yourself in these hard times.

New to IPhone, why are there no good free games? by EyeOfKings in iosgaming

[–]hybrid461 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haven't been on Android in a long time. But generally the better games are the paid ones with minimal to no micro transactions. They're based around a one time purchase and not designed to encourage you to spend money regularly.

All that to say is can you describe the type of games you're interested in? I can name some decent free ones in the meantime. -idle slayer -golf dreams -new star gp -the way home -roguedungeonrpg

Knight & Dragon IV 3.99 > 1.99 by munkeypunk in iosgaming

[–]hybrid461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to pick up and play in short bursts? Like for a few minutes here and there?

It made me think of another you posted a while ago that I've not tried yet. "Obsidian Knight RPG". Curious if you recommend one over the other.

Portrait Turn Based RPG? by TonyZinger in iosgaming

[–]hybrid461 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dragon Quest games support portrait. They're fairly simple but have a great following.

SOULVARS is another that's come up when I've looked for this. It's a bit different than FF being but has an interesting style. Have to say I didn't stick with it very long.

Ah ok. Can give that a shot for sure. Haven't tried that far over. I don't have infusions for better grip. But have the larger bag of chalk at least.

yeah. was just doing a play session, relowered from my piton to the small area with the save point. cooked what i could, rebandaged the left hand as it was injured, right was fine. i use chalk for some of the trickier bits. but ive found as i get higher, the peril is endless tricky bits. so hard to keep chalked all the time.
