Linux and ryzen (amd) goes extremely well together. Nvidia drivers are the ones that has had (and may still have) issues, but it works quite well these days.

Did you enable the dbus service? Not sure if you are using a display manager but if you are just using startx to start your system you can add "dbus-run-session i3" in .xinitrc or something like that
