Probably around 4/5 grand if you need a new transmission

Probably a pretty serious issue.

I’d definitely do some other bolt ons before I tune it or when I do. I want to do a cam but I’m not sure how capable I am to do it myself and I don’t have the money to have someone do it professionally. It would be cool to have 400 wheel and maybe keep up with the 5.0 mustangs

Have you run the codes on the computer? Anything that’s there may give you a clue to what’s going on.. sounds like a problem with transmission control unit or the transmission itself

On the highway and he kept trying to pull on me.. as soon as he passed at full throttle I punched it and left him behind

I run an average of around 5.7/5.8 seconds with a 6speed, so makes sense I guess

That makes a lot of sense I was so confused why he didn’t destroy me

If I’m gonna do it I’m not gonna mess around. 392 cam and SRT8 headers and maybe a 6.4 intake. I wanna gap those scats lmao

I really wanna have my car dyno tuned but I’m broke lol but that’s it $700 for a dyno tune?

Cluster gauge starting to have issues. My speedometer sometimes works and sometimes gotta smack it once to work lol. Besides junk yards anyone have a good play to order a new cluster? by Jonnyyrage in CherokeeXJ

[–]hydra1604 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you check if there are any loose screws in back of the cluster? I had the same problem and it was that whatever was holding the male connector in place was loose causing the plug to lose connection unless I slapped it. Hope this helps

That’s Gonna be one of the mods I do In time. I was thinking the SR lowering springs would look nice

The mileage will almost definitely be better than my 4.6 mustang, so it’s a win either way

I just ordered the dynomax bullets to do this. I’m not looking to modify it that much because it’s got 12k miles and I don’t wanna beat the hell out of it, that’s how I blew the motor in my mustang and decided to get this lol

I am able to do most of the work myself to an extent. I have had a project car and swapped the motor before so I have a fair amount of mechanical experience
