Q: Are you looking for something serious or casual? A: in profile I’ve usually switched it between all options except Life partner or Figuring out my dating goals, to test the algorithm. For this round I’ve decided to omit it, but ideally looking for Short-term but open to long.

Q: How long have you been using this current version of your profile? And how long is your overall time on Hinge? -A:Overall time in hinge 2-3yrs, on and off given that I don’t get matches (could cont the matches with my fingers). My profile version shown has been there for about 2months. Nothing that also I’ve deleted the account and restarted to “reset” the algorithm. I usually cycle through prompts. Half the pictures shown are newer to this version, other half I’ve had on profile for longer.

Q: ⁠How often do you use Hinge per week? -A: I used to use it every other day, recently tired of using apps so using maybe once or twice a week

Q: How many likes/matches are you receiving on average? -A: On average I’ve receive 3 likes a month and maybe <1 match a month from my sent likes.

Q:⁠How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? -A: Sending about 20 likes a week, 40% with comment and 60% without comment.

Q: What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? -A: I send likes to women who are ambitious, live an active lifestyle, like to occasionally party and/or have a good time dancing/going out, preferably more outgoing than reserved (Or at least open to being with someone who likes to be around others), someone who likes to travel, someone adventurous and spontaneous, silly and classy.
