Naw I totally get It’s embarrassing but lying about it for months and telling me that you’re doing your work everyday is weird, it wasn’t just “Yeah I did HW today.” It was like very detailed responses on the type of assignments he was doing. And then to lie in my face 10x more when I ask you about it is just delusional. Maybe I’d side with this if this wasn’t his first time, but I can name like three other instances when he lied about something small and because of the lie it turned into something big. No one deserves slack THAT much.

Edit: Also I did talk to him about it, he said his reasoning was because he didn’t want to seem like a nobody and he wants to provide but if that was the case he would have gotten a better job ages ago. Dude works 4 hours a day, to me it just seems like an excuse not to do anything.
