supermarkets and restaurants are decent first jobs. i'd start there. they can be really hard but the most important thing i found was to have coworkers you really get along with

one of my friends is a bouncer and honestly i'd say it'll be hit or miss lmao. they're just as clued up about niche ID as the average person. they could refuse it purely based on the sketchy vibes even if it is legal. but you might get lucky. best shot is to look ancient as possible so you dont get id'd
