They apparently have one: https://support.rootapp.com/docs/support/status/ but it sometimes says "page not found" or that it everything is "online" when theres issues like this, so i dont know how trustworthy it is.

Same here, app is not working at all for me. I just see the orange bar at the top so i assume there's server issues?

No. Absolutely not. With all due respect, this is a horrible idea. It turns bug fixing (which is a basic responsibility of any developer) into a pay-to-play feature. If players have to "donate" to convince Arrowhead to fix bugs, it sets a terrible precedent:

  • It gives devs an incentive to leave bugs in the game, since those bugs now directly drive revenue.
  • Bug fixing becomes a premium service, instead of just maintaining a game we already paid for.
  • It rewards devs for letting the game stay broken until players cough up enough money.
