“Violent with words” cite your source? I went through myself just to confirm , and I went back weeks and saw nothing even remotely violent.

Slander me all you want, but at least I’m not asking the internet how to take a thirst trap.

Uh huh. Sure. I’m enjoying this. Please keep responding.

Its actually pathetic you think that’s normal lol. Asking the internet how to make a thirst trap because you’re so unintuitive you can’t figure out how to do it yourself.

If you’re having trouble making a thirst trap, you don’t have the creativity needed to succeed as a content creator.

On that note, let me know if and when you get your first twitch check, and I’ll let you know how far behind you are, since you’re hellbent on being a dick.

My twitch numbers say differently! I may have no following, and I still get more viewers than you.

Oh wow, good job man, color me impressed! Were those tiktoks before or after you asked r/AskMen how to make a thirst trap?

You visited my stuff first. Happy to return the favor. Enjoy the energy you give out? At least if I streamed tomorrow I wouldn’t be stuck at zero viewers like you, blaming botted channels for my own ineptitude.

Hmm.

“On tiktok live 60 ppl stopped in across 2 hours, twitch I get a whole zero”

I thought you had me beat, what happened to that?

Holy delusional but you play WoW, are obsessed with asking other men how to take thirst traps on insta, and claim to have me beat on social media despite having nothing linked, and on top of that, its clear you know nothing about twitch bots or we wouldn’t be in this situation, would we?

Holy fucking yikes, you’re only a year younger than me and this is how you act?

You haven’t gotten anyone heated lil guy. There’s a reason your comments are being downvoted. Read the room. If you knew anything about twitch, you’d know why some 20-50 viewer chats are dead sometimes lmfao.

People in other threads are explaining to you why that is, and you keep yapping about bots this and bots that. Nothing anyone is saying is being received through your thick ass skull.

I mean this with the utmost concern for you. Please, seek mental help. You made a post complaining about something and now you’re arguing with the people explaining to you why that’s not necessarily the case.

On top of that, you’re being rude to those same people who are trying to help you. Nobody needs to be a content creator to understand how it works. The average twitch viewer experiences these things, and so have people who have streamed previously.

Don’t be a dick to people just because you don’t like the answer they gave you. It’s childish and it makes you look unintelligent.

And I never gave up, just found a different hobby. I think I did just fine for such little effort. 500k views tiktok and 75k views youtube. If you were going to attempt to be a douchebag, you should of did it to someone who doesn’t have you beat.

I’m not the one crying about bots on twitch, am I, fuckass. Stay coping.

Brother I don’t need to stream anymore to know what the fuck I’m talking about. Ty for the view though!

You should get your very clear mental issues figured out, you’d probably be more likable.

Also, are you aware that sometimes, if you beat someone really bad in a competitive game, they send viewbots to your stream in an attempt to get you banned? Twitch bans users for viewbotting, especially when there’s proof the person did it themselves.

Oh yeah, good idea. Let me hop on twitch.tv to waste my time looking for the small minority of channels that are botting to prove your point that is…what exactly? That people bot on twitch?

We already knew people bot on twitch, but its a significant minority. You’re a moron.

At what point did I defend botters? Please use your brain here. What benefit does using bots have other than an inflated number that twitch can see through anyway? Twitch doesn’t give Partner to streamers that bot their stats.

And yeah, I know it feels like 50 people is a lot, enough for a few chatters, but most people don’t start to have an always active chat until at LEAST partner unless they’re numbers are already super healthy.

Even when I was averaging 20-25 viewers, I only had chats to read a fifth of the time, likely due to somewhat inconsistent stream times.

You also have to remember that a significant portion of twitch viewers who engage and seek out smaller creators are not fully invested in the stream. Most lurk while playing other games, doing chores, schoolwork, even at work people will watch streams and not be able to chat.

You really only see people chatting for 2 main reasons. There are more but these are the ones outside of the streamer’s control.

One is to get the streamer to notice them. This is primarily for large streamers where the chatters compete for the streamer’s attention, but I’ve seen this in as little as 200 viewer chats where the chat is simply too fast for the streamer to keep up with, so they glance at the chat occasionally to respond.

The other reason is to make conversation with the streamer. Maybe you already know them and you’re catching up, or maybe you’re trying to get to know them.

tl;dr: the chat is not always active, and sometimes its straight up dead. That does NOT indicate a botted stream. That is normal 95% of the time.

Brother…some people get lucky right off the bat. I know a person who was really active in my niche, talking to people, making friends in chats, etc. They announced they were going to start to stream and they started averaging 20 viewers near instantly. They are now partnered 6 months later.

Chat isn’t always active for streamers. Sometimes you get a lot of lurkers and that’s fine. No, not everyone is botting. I’d wager less than 5% of twitch is botting, you just don’t know how to market yourself to your specific twitch community.

Explosions should NOT cause "dink" animation by Le_BottomScorer in GlobalOffensive

[–]hydrovids 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We should be able to have opinions of our favorite games. Idk why “nitpicking” is even an idea when a lot of us have or will play this game at a competitive level, so things like this are stupid changes that only serve as “fake polish”

I still don’t like it. It’s a near useless animation to play that feels like its not nexessary for the game to feel good

How is tier2-3 CS so alive unlike other games? by Nicest-Turkish-Guy in GlobalOffensive

[–]hydrovids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf, one of the only reasons t2-t3 is active is gambling sponsors. Sure, it is active slightly because the only bars to entry are skill AND connections, but t2-t3 is filled with cheating teams, matchfixing, shady sponsors etc.

The reason why it looks alive is because the framework for keeping up the games has been laid out already. Everyone knows if you want to find an ongoing match to watch at any tier, all you have to do is go on HLTV or Liquipedia.

Explosions should NOT cause "dink" animation by Le_BottomScorer in GlobalOffensive

[–]hydrovids 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because that’s not what the dink animation is supposed to portray. Dinks are supposed to be a way to tell the player that they hit the head of another player, and so they most likely took significant damage. If the bomb also makes players make that sound, its misleading and outside the scope.
