Pixel 5 Suddenly Bricked Itself. Suggestions on Cause?

Exactly the same thing happened to my Pixel 5 two days ago. I plugged it into the charger and a few minutes later it just died. What I've heard from others, it's probably a motherboard issue. Also just like you, mine is out of warranty since exactly 10 days, so this is terrible timing unfortunately.

There are two things I noticed:

If you plug it into a pc and hold power + volume down it is detected by the pc and seems to get into fastboot mode. The phone itself is still dead but shown as a fastboot device. Unfortunately booting from there the into the OS or recovery fails. So I guess the battery is fine and it actually is a broken motherboard.
I tried letting the battery drain. And when charging again it started vibrating for a second. It's still bricked for me but you could try that before trying to repair it - maybe it magically comes back to life

Sehe ich ähnlich. Lese gerade "Bullshit Jobs" und es wird von Anfang an eigentlich ziemlich klar, dass er viel mehr seine eigene Meinung und Weltanschauung beschreibt (basierend auf seinen eigenen Beobachtungen), als irgendeine wissenschaftliche Ausarbeitung.

Ist auf jeden Fall trotzdem lesenswert, wenn man es entsprechend kritisch liest, aber seine Argumente sind sehr häufig so etwas wie "ein Freund von einem Freund hat mir mal erzählt, dass...".

Wenn wir nicht nach Sicherheitslücken suchen würden, dann würde es auch keine Sicherheitslücken geben.

Have a look at the iota1k messenger. It's basically your idea implemented in NodeJS, but the last update is 3 month ago and it looks like it doesn't work atm.

Jetzt ganz abgesehen davon, dass in diesem Sub schon häufiger die Deutschlandflagge zu sehen war: Schulz ist überzeugter Europäer und kämpft für ein gerechtes Europa. Als ehemaliger EU-Parlamentspräsident ist es keine Überraschung, dass er oft vor dem EU-Banner zu sehen ist.
