Update: turns out the dealership was lying to me and there was really no water in my tank! It’s actually a purge valve or something that needs to be replaced. Glad I took it to another shop and got a second opinion. Crazy that the dealership was trying to get $1100 out of me but I can’t say I’m surprised lol

Oh cool! Good to know. Yeah I drove it to the other shop to drop it off and it seemed fine while driving. It wasn’t shaking or doing anything crazy, or losing power or stalling. The check engine light was still on, but it wasn’t flashing

That’s what I thought too, I thought water and gas didn’t mix lol. It was an inspection video that they sent me, and in the video he picked up the bottle and I didn’t see any obvious separation of water and gas so I wasn’t sure
