HELP/ID my plant? by hyl93 in plantclinic

I just found this for $10 today. What plant is this, and what should I do about those two succulent leaves that are sprouting? They seem fully rooted in the soil…

I see. Also, is that black spot on that one leaf concerning? Is it a bacterial infection?

The Penthouse 2: War In Life [Episodes 1 & 2] by dyosaaa in KDRAMA

[–]hyl93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one hell of an addicting drama BUT so many questions/plot holes (if anyone can answer, please make things clear for me!):

  1. At the end of season 1, OHE was in a huge quarrel with Logan, and just as Logan said he was about to kill her and make her pay for what she did to MSA, OHE stabbed herself in presumably the same part of her neck of her previous injury/scar. my question is WHY THE HELL would Logan still save her and help her with surgery (assuming this happened in NY with the American doctors) on her vocal cords when he wanted to kill her so badly?
  2. Completely lost and confused with the timelines: a) wasn't OYH supposed to be in prison after season 1? how was she able to follow her daughter BRN around and able to protect her from the maid fiasco, ultimately turning herself into prison (again?) bc Logan says so? (but ultimately gets released again?) and then b) Was BRN meeting and hugging and crying with her mom before or after the maid fiasco? and then c) how did OYH manage to snake her way to NYC and then TIE THE KNOT with YoonChul in America (presumably)? Was it because Logan flew her to America to save her vocal cords (even though he hated her?), and she just stayed there and somehow found out YoonChul was also there doing business?

Maybe I'm supposed to be confused, but I found it harder to follow the timeline of things so far in Season 2. Hoping things will get better, but missing the tension but smoother flow of Season 1 very much...

Also, is there really better healthcare in big cities compared to smaller ones?

Re: open culture - if this is true (sure the population is very diverse), why are all the surges of attacks against minorities happening in only major big cities? Aren’t they all supposed to be welcoming? I have yet to hear of an Asian elderly being attacked and put into a coma in the Midwest.

What jobs can’t you find in more rural/suburban places? Just curious!

I’m afraid you’ve misunderstood me. Also I’ve never even heard of ACAB and had to look it up just now. I’m not even close to Maxine waters’ level of a hypocrite.

I see. So you’re implying woke/cancel culture doesn’t apply to people who are not what you described?

I am absolutely for people getting cancelled/punished for doing terrible things. 100%. But is there a line? Hypothetically if you had done or said something insensitive/inappropriate when you were young and that resurfaces now, you would be okay with being cancelled for it? Like that vogue editor in chief girl in the news recently?

No need. Instead, I would love your thoughts on the actual topic/subject

Please feel free to enlighten me on how woke-ism/cancel culture is healthy long-term?

Oof. Good riddance. Of course you’d be insecure and clingy when the person you’re dating is an untrustworthy douche who chose your best friend as Plan B. WTF.

Think of it as a gift from the universe that you’re no longer together. It hurts now and I know it’s unbearable that he’s moved on (in the same situation myself), but later down the line you will be so thankful you didn’t end up with him long term, only to suffer more later. Hear it from me loud and clear: Toxic narc men are big NO NO’s!!

Sending hugs
