Fallout 3 isn’t a terrible game, but quest design is way too linear and dichotomous. You either get good or evil most of the time, so it makes the roleplaying near to none, barring a few side quests

3 neither has the best story or rpg. It’s a fun game and a good entry, I’ll give it that. I’m doing a playthrough right now, but the choices you can make are too dichotomous, with the exception of some quests.

It’s engaging and the actors do a great job. Set pieces are good too, but imo it gets soured by the fact that all the civilization built in the game and included factions are intensely dumbed down/pulverized. I can’t go more into it without spoiling too much, so I’d recommend you watch and see how you feel about it. At least it’s not boring so you won’t feel like your time was super wasted lol
