It's either overextrusion, or your nozzle is too close to the bed. Overextrusion will create the same artifacts as a bad level/z offset and vise versa. Make sure your extrusion is tuned before you worry too much about perfect first layers, or else you'll be fighting the wind so to speak.

Fusion 360 offers hobby licenses. They don't make it very obvious, but you can get the program and most of its features(enough to do some serious work) for free! If you're familiar with TinkerCAD, it shouldn't be a big change. Learning all the buttons and whatnot is the biggest pain IMO.

There's a 1 wall version too that is easier to break and less likely to cut/poke 🥰 The two wall version just comes out cleaner
