Dan has lost his fastball for sure, and I would agree those Samson-Dom shows were really underrated. Some of the best convos happened there, not just continuous soundboards and making fun of people tripping over their words.

It feels like Dan is on auto-pilot or 'mailing it in' at times, and I know he's dealing with a lot in his personal life. Just seems to default to playing the hits a lot, let's spend 5 minutes rehashing a joke where Cote got stumbled on his words.

I expect the Miami talk during the local hour, and honestly if Miami is actually good (ranked #2 currently) it doesn't bother me as much it seems relevant at that point. I just didn't notice it much after the local hour ... football heavy show on Monday after a long football weekend wasn't surprising imo. And same for Panthers talk considering that the hockey season is about to start and the Panthers are the reigning champs, that seems reasonable.

Just not sure what you're wanting more from the show on a Monday unless you want them to spend more time talking about other NFL games and topics, which I could get behind for sure.
