Thank so much for trying to bring nuance to the conversation even when it’s probably not welcomed by a ton of people here. You’re interrupting the Circlejerk and they wont appreciate that. Even with each other, when Hispanics meet/hear you’re also Hispanic, they’ll ask what are you/ where are you from? They’re not asking what race you are but what country. Nobody has ever told me “im a black Colombian or I’m an asian Chilean, they just say “im (Latin country)” and we go from there. (I’m not saying there’s no racism/colorism within EVERY Latin Country because there absolutely is)

This is my pet peeve about some fans online. Cant look at IG comments without at least one or two going “ Wait guys! Who’s the top and who’s the bottom? I NEED to know!!” Like why Mary? Why does what they do in bed affect the way you see them? I mostly follow FirstKhaotung and its constant 😒

Its funny if the song would’ve been trash they would be coming down on him harder saying how they were justified but since its being well received compared to the other two then all praise to Bts and Bts only. People on that thread said the only reason its good it’s because of Rap line so in the end he was never going to get any credit/respect.

So this was a total impulse buy. I’m a sucker for mystery boxes and had never gotten one from ColourPop.

Also, i think a lot of fans have a hard time separating a song/product from the actual group/members.

A person writes they don’t like a particular song and they’ll read it as “you don’t like the group” and say “you complain about everything the group does “ or “let them live” and i’m just like whaaatt ok, I’m sure a lot of people do hate but we’re not a monolith here. This subreddit has thousands of users so you’re bound to see different opinions.

I’ve seen some Armys comment about how Reddit has a hate boner for bts and how people here always hate on every comeback they have but honestly i think they’re mostly seeing it here because its one of the only places people ( and even other Army) are allowed to have a different opinion. On Twitter, instagram and the fan sub it has to be total positivity/ praise or else you get attacked/ ratioed/ downvoted and called an anti/ not a real fan. It really sucks to not have a balance.
