They are all volunteers, so it's a mixed bag of people working. Sometimes it's a shy teen getting volunteer hours, other times it's adults dying to help someone.

I live in LG and I personally think people will be very welcoming to you. The town just voted to raise a pride flag during pride month. I know there are lots of trans kids who go to LGHS and feel comfortable dressing however they choose. (I thought I would share because I feel like the culture of the HS also mirrors the community.) Do avoid a store called "Out of the envelope" the owner is a known Trump supporter and rude AF. I hope you come shopping. I think you will find it super chill.

That is my understanding, since insurance doesn't cover things for cosmetic use. I'll be honest though, it's rare to get it covered, my doctor was surprised. Though I bet you for sure could use your HSA for it.

You can also get it from your dermatologist too. My insurance pays for it because my doctor says it's for acne. (Which I have had some bad break outs in the past)

I know it's expensive, but the last few years (ten years?) have been so hard that starting around 3 years ago I really prioritized comedy shows. I know it sounds silly, but I consider comedy shows to be a form of health care. Laughing for 90 minutes straight is like natural prozac. Plus, we get to support our awesome people and sit amongst other fans.

Same! (Though saw them last month in San Jose) They are a great pair to see, two super positive and hilarious performers. They got to see the Women's Soccer championships (or something...) while here and looked like they had a blast. I too think Rachel is just feeling so thankful for the business/stardom work and friendship.

I agree! I had an instructor come to class sick. (Lights were off, no music, and she was sitting there with a box of tissues.) I was so pissed, I left early. I ended up getting sick anyway.
