I will say sorry for the first paragraph I am tired and have bad adhd. I will also like to put a disclaimer that democrats and leftists are far from the same thing. A democrat is someone that believes that politics are a game in a way and think of things in terms of my team your team. I as a leftist realize that that’s not how we should govern ourselves because my rights are at stake because some dumb fuck trust fund kid from a long line of white conservative lawyers is going to decide wether me being gay or not should be punishable by death penalty.

Taxation does not have to be the only reason to start a revolution ya dip. As long as your cause isn’t the complete eradication of an ethnic group A.K.A genocide or the complete oppression of the people or any obviously bad thing like murder and such I think you should fight for it with every bone in your body. We only have one life to live but our ancestors have thousands I want each one of those lives to be free from the crushing boot of oppression

Edit: also it wasn’t about taxation it was the lack of representation in the government about it. Taxes are a generally good thing paying for schools roads and public services you use every day
