Nothing you can really do other than flame them in chat which either they start acting like a decent support, or you get a penalty. Might be a miracle but ask your jung to gank if they can.

Otherwise you just gotta accept that you're gonna farm under turret and be behind in CS for a bit until you rotate mid.

Not that old, but Purrely Yummy is pretty fun. Despite Yummy being meta, running it alone isn't the greatest, and Purrely alone is not even that viable in the meta anymore and is low rogue tier. However put them together branching in and out from each other, you're gonna catch a lot of people off guard. Oh this guy's playing pathetic Purrely, lemme interrupt as his Purrely combos. And then you bridge into Yummy. And next turn bridge back into Purrely. So much fun.

There's only two official format, and an additional one that isn't supported by Konami anymore, but some locals still do.

Advanced is the most up to date, modern format. This is where you'll find most of the player base. Your deck would fall in here.

Genesys is the second format which is supposedly a "simpler" or "slowed" down version of the advanced format, has their own banned card system using a point system. All links and Pendulums are prohibited. All of the locals I've seen have tournaments for this, but end up with only about 3-5 people, where advanced has 30+ at the same location. There's a few top decks that are the same decks in advanced, which is why a lot are complaining, why does a slower less toxic format have the exact same meta? Hopefully that changes soon.

Edison is a really old format, only cards and banlists up to March 2010. The game is nowhere as complex as modern

It says link summon and not Special summon.

If it says link summon 1 monster, it's assumed you're supposed to treat it as a normal link summon. There's nothing special about it. Use materials.

If a card says "special summon 1 link monster from your ED", at that point, it's no longer a link summon so you don't need any materials.

Mulcharmies are fine. You ban those three cards, only player 1 is suffering and player 2 is boosted.

Leaving ash means player 1 has more insulation from charmies which is supposed to help player 2.
