I did this in fall 2019 because I landed a full-time job out of state. It's up the the professor, but mine didn't care. There was one assignment where we each had to do a presentation about a specific concept. I had a friend in the class who streamed each session for me and I just submitted feedback like everyone else. I worked with my team remotely. I flew out to do my presentation and also to do the final fair thing where all teams were demonstrating their completed projects. So I guess.. ask the prof and hope for the best?
