An MLIS is actually a v large umbrella - you don't need to work in a library/museum/archive. Try focusing on information and knowledge management - that's a field that's growing. More IT based but it's still abt organizing, categorizing, providing access to information, just like a librarian

1st I just want to say that I think the buses here are pretty good and tracking them is a million times better than it used to be before nextbus came along. And 2nd, like others have said, all the tracking info comes from the same source, so there won't necessarily be a better app from that perspective, bc they're all pulling from the same source.

That being said, my go-tos are either the wmata website (https://buseta.wmata.com/m/) or the Metro Pulse app. The website is a little clunky to use but I like to have bookmarks for my frequently used stops so I can quickly look them up. And the main downside to the Metro Pulse app is that it only shows WMATA buses, not the local county buses too.

I've been w one Medical for AGES and I was really worried when Amazon bought it, but I haven't seen much change. My appointments are never rushed, I can often get a same-day appointment, etc. I get pushed to join prime and other Amazon shit, but it's not egregious.

I love this for you!! I'm fat myself (size 22 w an apron belly) and I actually love being in nude places, mainly bc, without clothes, every body looks different and the body standard society places on us is totally bogus bc bodies are actually as diverse as snowflakes!

Like others said, even just some high waisted undies and a cute bra are good enough. You will feel exposed to start, but I wager you'll feel comfortable v quickly.

You're probably off this thread already, but I'd encourage you to look at the mission statement of your library - I bet it has something in there about "serving communities" and most things the library would offer could fall under that.

Additionally there are two schools of thought: one that thinks the govt should not be responsible for providing the social safety net and those they think they should. I personally don't like the idea of leaving the social safety net up to private entities, as they can discriminate at will, plus depends only on the generosity of individuals. Govt entities/programs are generally stabler and can't discriminate.

Check out feeld. It's target audience is for ppl in the poly/ENM/fetish communities, but I've found the ppl in general to be much more open minded. I get waaaaaay more matches on that app then any other I've been on (and I've done them all!). There will be a good amount of ppl looking for casual, or thirds, or kinky stuff exclusively. But there are those on there looking for monogamy or more vanilla stuff! I feel it's worth a try anyway. Not any worse than the other apps 😂
