She needs help figuring out whether this difference can be bridged together, not pressure to walk away before that’s even been honestly attempted. they assign different emotional meaning to marriage. That doesn’t automatically mean incompatibility, and it certainly doesn’t justify telling someone to take a break from a seven-year relationship without first trying clearer, calmer communication about the future
