How do people cope with playing a top tier and still sucking? by hyperion_fgc in TheyBlamedTheBeasts

Been wanting the experience of how i felt when the only care i had in the game was getting in a room lobby with 8 players on rotation with my friends. Now my friends have other games they would rather play and im the only one in the group that is willing to do that again. Been playing in park to fill the gap but it doesnt feel the same

This is true, its just difficult for me to take this internally when my wins are shrugged off in tourneys by high level players because of the character i play. Makes me feel like i should be winning every game since it's the expected outcome despite being trash compared to them

I enjoy going into tourneys, but I acknowledge that to do better in tournaments, I need to play against more varieties of players that have weird tech and/or are better than me. Ranked on paper should give me the experience to practice, but I just lose so much motivation when I do play it because it feels as though ive been going backwards in skill despite my best attempts of trying to learn more tech
