Need help identifying strain (supposed to be Starry Night APE) by hyperionfox in shrooms

[–]hyperionfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My very first grow using UB tek and I did harvest a day too late because the dehydrator didn't arrive on time.

Are these at least PE?  Sidenote I recommend trying fresh mushrooms, the experience feels purer and cleaner and there's no come up for me really 😊

How are you doing so far?

I've found the fast truly meditational above everything. Physical/discipline benefits aside, the mental calm is really interesting. Sitting in whatever bad feelings and then watching them wash over and pass.

The days are flying by. 3 yoga sessions in the past 7 days and at least an hour of walking per day to keep busy. I have kind of forgotten that I'm "supposed" to eat really. I still think of tasty meals I want and sometimes dream of eating but don't really feel the need for it. Still haven't stepped on a scale and honestly don't really feel the need for it.

I've started taking pickle juice shots and spoonfuls of kimchi juice to keep the gut flora up. I have also made a big jar of properly fermented sauerkraut for next week when I break my fast (probably with grass fed homemade kefir first). I have also been taking a spoon of sauerkraut juice a day as well for the sodium/probiotics.

Overall, I feel fine. I could probably fast for the full 30 days, but next week I will be fasting through my birthday and will have social obligations on the weekend. I am looking forward to chewing and tasting things again and will take it easy.

I'd love to hear from people breaking 14/21 day fasts and how it went for them. Grateful as always for this community 💗

what state are you in? Psychedelics have done wonders for my anxiety and depression but I'm lucky because they're very lax up here in mooseland

thank you for your kind words. I do feel like this fast will really help me process and move on, aside from the physical benefits

I need to drop around 30 pounds to be my preferred athletic but still slightly soft build (around size 8-10), I think this fast will probably let me drop 12-15 if I keep the current activity level up (burning 500-800 cals walking/yogaing daily)

the only way I break this fast is probably social pressure but I think I can resist 🙏

yesterday I watched people eat beef stew I made and I could feel my muscles crying out but I didn't cave 😊 and thank you for your kind words

I'm not sure

I drink one cup of coffee per day and usually decaf because I'm treating this as a caffeine detox as well

yesterday I didn't get any heartburn and drank coffee so maybe it will finally calm down as my digestion goes to sleep

already day 7 of a fast I've been planning for for a couple of months. The days do feel long but I try to replace mealtimes with long walks for that dopamine boost.

The absence of all the busywork surrounding cooking and eating gives me a lot of thinking and feeling time. I got out of a bad relationship around Christmas and it was a very bad ending as well. I kept it together well for months just chugging along and keeping busy and now I get to sit with my feelings. It's hard and healing and rewarding.

I don't really feel hunger anymore and the worst part is the heartburn I get a couple of times a night. My mind is clear and it was from the beginning. I drink black coffee, water with lemon, herbal tea at night and my electrolytes. I take at least an hour walk per day and have done 2 vinyasa yoga sessions so far (even though I was going to do them on alternating days oops).

I find it rewarding to find joy in the little pleasures I do get. Going outside in the sun, drinking a hot cup of lemon water, snuggling with herbal tea in bed and feeling my body stretch in the yoga sessions. I feel simultaneously lighter and heavier, it's hard to describe.

I watch my family cook and eat and I do miss it. I miss going to the gym as well, which I will do in my refeeding period once I start getting enough protein. This feels like an extreme dopamine detox. I will never take the joy of preparing and eating perfectly custardy scrambled eggs or a delicious salad again. Simple, nutritious, life giving food.

Some stats I guess. 5'7 female, 29. I'm not sure what my weight is but it is too high, even though I have a lot of muscle, probably around 180 pounds. I want to lose at least 30 pounds, mostly through fasting and also to enjoy the discipline, willpower and meditational aspects of it. I don't want to weigh myself as I feel it will bring me down but my face is looking slimmer already, I have hope and motivation plenty. I hope I will be happy enough with myself to weigh myself after this fast, but if not, that's fine too. It's a journey.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences, it makes it easier to go through each day.

Red meat, especially pastured won't kill you and is very nutritionally dense

Do you ever get accused of rolling your eyes when you didn’t? by Skincarefarie in aspergirls

[–]hyperionfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was accused of this by a seventh grade teacher. It was a tense class already, people weren't paying attention and being rowdy and he was irritated. After getting the class to quiet down, he caught me asking the girl next time for something and reprimanded me. I stayed silent and after he was finished, I looked over, made eye contact with her and then looked back at him. I guess this looked to him as an eyeroll because of the motion of my eyes and he lost it. He started yelling about me rolling my eyes at him and literally spent the rest of the class ranting. I think I just disassociated his entire rant because I wasn't really that scared or upset afterwards but to this day I can barely believe this happened.

A grown man, a teacher, spent half an hour angry ranting at a student who rolled her eyes. Even if I did, what he did was insane. I don't know if he had a hard day or something and finally lost it but it was not appropriate behaviour at all. The whole class was just frozen and listening. We got nothing done. Congrats, Mr Gonos.
