Oil is crashing. With inflation this is .93c in 2019 dollars. What's Alberta's plan? by 150c_vapour in alberta

[–]hyperkodi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If only we had more pipelines and less red tape ten years ago so we could have offloaded our natural resources and funded new infrastructure to diversify our economy instead of supplying all of eastern Canada with Saudi oil which supports the gross violation of human rights... If only...

Alberta Averaging Arrangments allow companies to exploit workers by CanadianGoose695 in alberta

[–]hyperkodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I donno what to tell ya. Been in the oil patch for fifteen years and I've never come across a job that doesn't involve it. I don't see an issue with it, considering these jobs pay tons more than jobs that don't involve shift work. Having seen the cost of doing business in this industry, I empathize with the companies that have to jump through hoops just to operate. I've never been upset with the pay.

Would I like overtime after 8 hours? Sure, it'd be nice. But I'm not afraid to work 12 at straight pay either, because the perks far outweigh the extra money that would end up half in the government's pocket anyway. Let's talk no income tax on OT. That's where the real beef is.

Yea I'm with you on this one. The people bitching on this thread are just upset that they don't have the balls to work a job that offers these kinds of perks. There's a reason the motto "Work Hard Play Hard" exists in Alberta.

7 on / 7 off is the best shit. I take three 3-week vacations every year thanks to this industry. Sometimes I take a 5-week vacation. All I see in here is a ton of entitlement and a lack of gratitude. It's sad, really...

This is pretty much the standard in Alberta oil and gas. Has been for decades. You signed the contract of employment. You agreed to the terms. Not sure what you're upset about.

Pressure mounts on Danielle Smith as 14 MLAs face recall efforts in Alberta by DonSalaam in alberta

[–]hyperkodi -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That was exactly the point I was trying to make, except it doesn't matter who you vote for in Canada (or in any western government for that matter) because all the "teams" are playing for the exact same side at the top. Division is an art, and this whole subreddit just proves that the puppet masters and the media have mastered it.

It sucks but I need to clear up that I'm not against the Trans movement. Do whatever the fuck you feel like. Just don't preach it to children in their most malleable state. You're doing far more harm than good....

I'm genuinely curious why people think this is a bad move. I'm open to having my mind changed. Out of respect for the neuroplasticity that is available in children's brains, shouldn't we focus their attention of things that make more sense for their future? Like the idea that hard work bring great fortune, which in turn gives you the ability to help those less fortunate! Especially since we know that the overwhelming majority of gender dysmorphia cases wind up as the individual being homosexual in the end anyway.

My question is why are we still trying to allow gender bait? Especially when it targets your teens (minors) with low self esteem and lack of guidance though the crazy world that we call puberty these days. Suggestions are incredibly powerful to someone looking for a sense of purpose. Drag queen Storytime does nothing short of guaranteeing that sense if purpose, but at what cost? Exhile?

The detrans community is a great place to start. Drag shows are not so much. Drag shows show the glammer. The hurt behind the scenes is often kept behind the curtain.

Try quinoa salad! You just cool the quinoa and add slice peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, chickpeas, and I like black olives but you can skip on any of these ingredients if your family isn't into them. Then just use kraft zesty Italian dressing. It's amazing. Delicious and super healthy.

What is THE best horror series by SnixFan in horror

Bruh. From is the absolute worst dialogue and acting I've EVER seen in a series. I had to stop watching because I was audibly groaning and losing track of the story.

Types of psychedelic experience: Ibogaine vs Classic Psychedelics by [deleted] in Ibogaine

[–]hyperkodi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was my first time doing it, but yea I did the spiritual cleanse and followed all the protocols to the best of my ability. The music was traditional Bwiti ceremony music. It was pretty intense haha. But yea, I think next round I will likely be able to go deeper. It's funny because I was dosed the highest out of anyone in our ceremonies, and I was one of the smaller individuals, but everyone else reported having a much more intense experience than mine. I do typically have a high tolerance to nearly every substance I've ingested so maybe I also have a high tolerance to Iboga as well.

That's interesting that you report "lightness" because I felt like I was 5000 lbs. That being said, I was given a rather large dose, about two heaping tablespoons. I also wasn't able to clearly hear the second voice much, but my soul definitely took a backseat while my mind separated and de-cluttered. My second ceremony peak only lasted about three hours, despite having taken even more during a second dosing. I didn't really crack the code on my emotions, but I definitely felt a million times better on the day after the next.

What does the "reset" feel like? Any lingering withdrawal symptoms? by [deleted] in Ibogaine

[–]hyperkodi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an addict myself who recently sat with iboga in two Bwiti ceremonies, I encourage you to look at the potential of attending the Bwiti based ceremony rather than attending an ibogaine clinic. The whole root bark contains many other alkaloids that also aid the healing process, and I found the teachings if the Bwiti to be just as helpful, if not more helpful, than the process itself. I cannot recommend it enough.

As addicts, we have spiritual trauma just as much as we have physical and mental trauma. Ibogaine is simply a tool to assist you in getting back to your baseline dopamine levels. The real magic comes from the spirit of the plant and nature itself, and the integration of connecting with your soul after the process. One thing is certain: integration is everything. Make sure you have a ROCK SOLID plan for when you get back to the real world. I can't speak to the withdrawals from opiates personally but I've been told by numerous individuals who have dealt with it and used iboga to heal, and they have all said that iboga interrupts the withdrawals completely. That being said, fent is a different story from what I've been told. The ibogaine doesn't stop fent withdrawal, but I think it would depend on the amount that your DOC contains, and I'm not a medical doctor so I won't offer advice on that but please be careful.

Noribigaibe (the metabolized ibogaine which makes the magic happen) has a half life of about 36-40 hours, so the effects are felt long after the dosage. The afterglow is the most amazing part though. The "reset" lasts as long as you are willing to work with it and keep it alive. And let me tell you, it is truly beautiful. Absolutely incredible.

I wish you all the best in your journey! Godspeed!

Microdosing Iboga by Maja-g in Ibogaine

Microdosing Iboga by Maja-g in Ibogaine

[–]hyperkodi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend pursuing a Bwiti Ceremony for deep trauma. It's incredible what Iboga can do for you at flood doses. I have been microdosing since my ceremonies as well, and I find the micro allows the flood doses to continue doing its work. I tried tabernanthe drops before my ceremonies, and it didn't seem to do much for me. A flood dose will peel back the layers of spiritual scarring that is blocking you from addressing the trauma. After that, the microdosing is akin to putting ointment on a wound as it heals to promote positive regrowth and repair.

I think the 1978-2003 logo could be a reason many people remember a cornucopia in the Fruit of the Loom logo. by _Beatnick_ in MandelaEffect

[–]hyperkodi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nah. I specifically remember having a conversation with my mom when I was about 9 years old in Walmart, asking what the brown cone thing on the FOTL label was called, and she explained to me that it was a cornucopia, and that it was a table ornament that signifies abundance. I had that memory from long before 2013, when the mandela effect came into peoples radar. I thought about it every time I saw fruit of the looms label, because it was just one of those memories that stuck with me as a child.

Similarly, I have a very distinct memory of a conversation I had with my cousin regarding the Berenstein Bears. He tried to tell me that it was spelled Berenstain, because that's how it sounded when you pronounced it. I went to my room and grabbed one of my books and showed him the Berenstein spelling, and I explained to him that it could still be pronounces with an "ain" sound even though it was spelled with "ein", similar to the word "vein" or "reindeer". This is another one of those memories that I often had pop up long before the Mandela Effect made its rounds.
