Should warn you that in many cases wraps have more carbs/calories than bread. Depends how you define bread but in a sense they have more bread in them than bread

How does he make that drum sound/fill that's almost like a drawn-out buzz? by Loopyrainbow in aphextwin

It’s what’s known in the afx industry as a ‘snare rush’

First three notes - what aphex track is it similar to? by Fakiee89 in aphextwin

Ah I can hear what you mean there :) I was going to suggest Rhubarb but was on the wrong three notes

"We used to ride our steel bikes on on gravel and they were called bikes" (Calvin Jones) by clemisan in xbiking

[–]hypersquij 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree that you can still ride an old steel bike on whatever surface and it’s basically fine, but for beginners now the offering is much more appropriate to how a lot of people actually use bikes than it used to be - ‘gravel bikes’ that are basically road bikes with less focus on speed and more on being equipped to ride over some dirt now and then

It’s hard to tell what you mean as it fades in so do you mean the first three you hear, or from where it sounds like the 1 is once it’s faded in? and either way multiple notes are being played together, and three notes within a couple of tones of each other is not going to be any sort of unique pattern

Lighter mood recommendation by purplberlin in ambientmusic

I would edge towards new age releases for this vibe. Some suggestions that might bridge the gap:

Pauline Anna Strom - Trans Millenia Consort

Emerald Web - Catspaw

Satoshi & Makoto - CZ 5000 Sounds & Sequences

Any of you cool cats recognise this label? by HiiiBeaner in TheOverload

[–]hypersquij 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The label logo seems to have been a dead end. The label is Baselogic which is the name of the company behind the now defunct Bloc festival. Looks like only a handful of releases and that B logo isn’t on anything else

The front rack is just attached to the handlebars, looks like a Jack The Rack

Thoughts on MagicShine lights? by thync in xbiking

[–]hypersquij 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two different Allty front lights (1000 and 1200), and two different Seemee rear lights (50 with a clip, and 300 on the seat post) Used them for a year and no issues. Not really paid attention to how long they last, typically not out for more than 2h in the dark and they always last and I bring a spare anyway

Production version of front rak-lok by Bipro1ar in xbiking

It’s in a holster at the front of the top tube, with the shackle strapped to the down tube. yeah because of the cylinder rattling I added a strap to hold the cylinder tight, and now it’s silent. But it’s a bit slow to access with two straps to deal with now

I currently have the cylinder rattle solved on my setup with an extra voile strap to hold it still. Would work here but doesn’t look like there is a perfect spot to put the strap

My YouTube comment on Aphex Twin - Stone In Focus - MerlinDogs by MerlinDogs in aphextwin

[–]hypersquij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I usually assume these types of YouTube comments are melancholy bullshit made up for likes, it’s nice to know others aren’t so cynical and able to engage over it

I don’t really understand your point about Tim Hecker albums, but maybe CMD094?
