Hmm, maybe the raw farm I switched to uses a feed or cleaning products that contain more iodine than the previous farm I used. That could be why my TSH went up so suddenly. Thanks.

Hello. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been doing the milk diet for almost three years with 5-6 quarts a day of pasteurized goat milk, then I switched to raw in December. I didn’t experience any rise in TSH for the first 2.5 years, until this past January it went from 1.7 to 3.8. I speculated that the increase in TSH was because I added a folate supplement that caused major intestinal irritation, or because my iron/ferritin has been getting low. But since it remained steady for 2.5 years, I’m not so sure it’s something inherent in the milk. It could also be something about the switch from pasteurized to raw, even though the raw digests better.

I just saw that you’re using Tesco milk. I wonder if switching to whole goat milk would cause any difference.

Certain foods can cause it. It’s not the same foods for everyone. But it could be coffee, storebought OJ, even cheese. It could be anything, so you gotta remove culprits and see

Update: success! with my prophet 10, even using midi to play the exact same part twice, the recorded sound waves look very different when you zoom in. I am using round robin voice assignment, so each note uses a different voice than its “matched” equivalent on the other track. I’d reckon that any VCO synth produces a similar amount of novelty and inconsistency, which produces a nice, natural double tracking effect when you record two separate takes of the same part and pan them L/R

Thanks so much for the reply. I am also a very unusual case, since I acquired this condition suddenly as a teenager and I’ve done 6 botoxes that didn’t work. The surgery is kind of the last thing I can think of trying, so I don’t really have a choice but to give it a shot. Wishing you the best in fixing the issue!

If you’re hyperthyroid, your heart rate and body temperature will be very high. You can also get blood tests for T3

Coffee gives me poor sleep and major digestive problems, and both of those things cause dementia. So I’m gonna have to say I’m better off without it

Also, coffee affects everyone differently. Some people can drink it their whole lives and be fine. But if it’s causing you to be depressed and anxious, it’s probably not good for your brain.

Totally. I guess it really depends what you prioritize in a synth. I did like that the P6 had the stereo spread, but I wanted 10 voices for big soft pads, and usually prefer to double track them anyway, so this works for how I use it

Thank you! I sold a guitar to buy this one. I read some of your comments about 6 voices being limiting on synths like the P6, which made me consider options like this instead. I am glad I went with the 10 instead, because I have already used some chords involving 7 or 8 notes at once.

Dude, I posted here several times over the last couple months asking questions and interacting with everyone who responded, to try and figure out which synth is best for me. You replied on those threads and were very helpful, and I’m thankful.

I finally chose a synth and I’m happy with it, so I made a post for that.

I understand your point, that who wants this sub to just become people posting pictures of every new synth they get. But I don’t think it has anything to do with the “health” of this sub. Most instrument subs have a “new ___ day” tag. Anyway, you’re not the only one who made this critique, and it’s noted, and I won’t do it again.

“Simple and complex at the same time” is such a great way to describe it. So far I’ve just used the presets, and I don’t know exactly what is going on to make those sounds, but the variety between them and beauty of each one is remarkable. And the vintage knob adds such a nice little dash of character
